Professor Dr. Seyhan Topbaş graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine. He continued his academic career at the same university, during which he spent approximately eight months at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the United Kingdom, specializing in retinal diseases and retinal surgery.

After 2013, he continued his professional career in Eskişehir at Private Ümit Hospital and Private Acıbadem Hospital. He has participated in numerous national and international congresses as both a speaker and an attendee.

His primary areas of expertise include the treatment of retinal tears and detachments, retinal vascular diseases, and diabetic retinopathy—both medical and surgical management. He also provides diagnosis and treatment for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), performs anti-VEGF and steroid injections, and carries out surgeries for macular conditions such as macular holes and epiretinal membranes (ERM), in addition to various laser therapies for retinal diseases.
